Green Schools

Our third Green Schools Project has been embraced enthusiastically by Shountrade this year.   The Committee has been busy reinforcing the themes of our existing Green Flags – Waste Reduction and Energy Conservation.  Our project this year is Water Conservation.  An action plan was devised to promote water conservation at school and at home.

The Green schools Committee made a very impressive presentation to "An Taisce" and two representatives, Conor O'Farrelly and Kristina O'Brien travelled to Thomond park on Friday the 20th to accept the Green flag on behalf of the school.
