Child Protection & Welfare Guidelines

    Child Protection & Welfare Guidelines

We remind parents also that Shountrade N.S. Board of Management has adopted the Department of Educating and Science Guidelines in relation to Child Protection & Welfare.  These guidelines promote the welfare of all children.  Consequently, if there is a matter of concern in relation to abuse of children, we are obliged to report this to the local Health Board.  They will assess the case and provide the necessary support for the child concerned.

The teachers of Shountrade NS will be implementing the ‘Stay Safe’ programme during the year.
